Trattoria Aroma began in 1993 as a humble Italian-inspired cafe on Main Street in Williamsville. As its popularity grew, Caffe Aroma was welcomed on Elmwood Avenue for a second location a short 2 years later. While trying to perfect the art of espresso beverages and Italian pastries, owners Dave Cosentino and Gerri Clementi began traveling to Italy. These trips created a desire to serve their customers more than cappuccino and tiramisu and in 1999 Trattoria Aroma was opened next to the already popular Caffe in Williamsville.

The owners prided themselves in serving authentic Italian Trattoria cuisine, including brick oven pizzas and handmade pastas, while pairing the dishes with a full Italian wine list.
